Gulf Cost Raceway is a 15 acre state of the
art RC racing facility with a permanent open air on-road and covered off-road
track. The facility has many modern features that most demanding RC racers have
come to expect. It has been the host of the 2007 ROAR Nationals, 2006 RC-Pro
Nationals, the annual Gulf Coast Raceway Grand Prix, ROAR South West
Championship Series Regional and monthly club races.
Some of the state of the art features Gulf
Coast Raceway facility has to offer include:
· Permanent
tire trueing station area with 12v power supply (drivers to provide their own
tire truers)
· Two
track-side large air compressors to allow drivers to blow dust off cars
· Covered
pit areas capable of accommodating over 200 racers
· Two
permanent track side snack bars capable of serving breakfast and lunch for over
300 people
· Computer
monitors throughout the facility linked to RC Pro software showing live race
progress
· Air
Conditioned VIP viewing area with refreshment/catering capabilities
· Hobby
shop at the facility with full stock of parts/accessories/consumables for most
major RC brands
· RV
facilities with water, electricity and sewer
hook-up capable of accommodating up to 6 RV vehicles
· Parking
space to accommodate over 300 cars
· Modern
full restroom facilities by track side capable of accommodating a full racing
event
· Office
space available with internet access for private visiting teams meetings
· The
facility will have temporary seating installed for public viewing capable of
accommodating in excess of 300 spectators
